Silver open faced pocket watch by Urban Jürgensen

A Danish extremely rare, early gentleman’s pocket watch with temperature compensation, circa 1815.
Silver polished case with case maker punch mark “MRM” (Martin Matthews, Otvord) and gold hinges. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman numerals and blued spade hands. Full plate movement, marked “Patent No. XV”, frosted, gilt, signed, with cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt ring balance and blued temperature-compensating balance spring via bimetal compensation stripes.
