A large Dutch silver pair-cased Oignon watch, circa 1725.
Plain silver cases with Dutch watch paper and maker’s mark DR. Typical Dutch enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track with Arabic five minutes numerals, and probably original Louis XV-style hands. Fine full plate movement, signed Gerrit Bramer Amsterdam, keywind, chain/fusee, three-arm steel balance, silver balance bridge with pierced scenes, verge escapement.
