An early pair cased verge watch in very beautiful condition made by Robert Thorne in London, England, circa 1753. This watch has a double case crafted from silver Hallmarked London 1753 on the inner case and a white enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals and original iron hands. The numbered movement has a verge escapement and worm gear.
