An English gilt pair cased key wind verge coach watch with regulator dial and moon age made for the Chinese market, circa 1795. Full plate fire gilt movement, screwed on florally engraved ornaments, chain/fusee, square baluster pillars, verge escapement, three armed steel balance, very finely florally engraved and pierced balance cock with fantasy bird, chatoned diamond endstone on balance. White enamel dial, outer Arabic minutes, eccentric hour chapter ring with Roman numerals at 12, auxiliary seconds at 3, subsidiary chapter ring with Arabic numerals indicating ages of the moon at 9 and heart shaped gold hands. Gilt à goutte outer case with  florally engraved bezels and large lateral hinge, gilt inner case with polished center, engraved foliage and floral decoration to the band. Movement signed and numbered.
