A very fine Swiss 18-carat rose gold hunting cased keyless lever dress watch, circa 1900. Made for W.W. Wattles in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A solid, polished, monogrammed front cover, inside and on the cuvette three engraved dedications, the earliest one dated Christmas 1900, case band decorated with vermicelli decoration, hinged gold cuvette.

White enamel dial with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, sunk subsidiary seconds dial, and blued steel spade hands. Nickel-silver movement, 19 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, eccentric cam micrometer regulator. Dial and movement signed, case signed by the retailer.
