A fine English 18 carat gold open faced keyless pocket watch with 30-hour power reserve, circa1883. 3/4 Plate lever movement signed G. Baskerville, Leek, cut and compensated balance wheel.
White enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 and up and down indication at 12, blued steel hands, heavy 18 carat gold case with hinged case bearing the monogrammed initials FA and inside the case maker’s mark JR for John Rotherham of Coventry.
