An English lever in a silver full hunter case, hallmarked London circa 1884. Gilt three-quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Plain silver full hunter case with gilt winding button. Maker’s mark ‘JW’ in an oval and number corresponding to that on the movement.
