A fine pair cased repoussé English verge pocket watch “Rebecca and Eliezer at the Well”, circa 1786.
Two cases: gold chased outer case with repoussé scene “Rebecca and Eliezer at the Well” and lateral hinge; 18 carat gold inner case with case maker punch mark “IW”. Enamel dial with radial Roman hours, Arabic minutes and gold arrow hands. Full plate movement, keywind, firegilt, signed, chain/fusee, moulded pillars, three-arm steel balance, florally engraved and pierced balance bridge.
