Silver florally engraved pocket watch

An English silver open faced keywinding pocket watch, made by John Forrest London, circa 1913. The name of the model is Chronometer Maker to the Admiralty. The case back is engraved with a patterned décor and a fluted case band. Gilded metal dust cover. The case is made by W.R. Birmingham or Coventry; the Birmingham letter dates from 1913. A white enamel dial, outer minute track, radial Roman numeral, subsidiary dial at 6 and gilt metal Pear hands. A gilded brass, full plate movement, going barrel, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance and blued steel flat hairspring, engraved gilded cock, polished steel index regulator. The dial and movement are signed.
