A rare English silver and shagreen triple cased quarter repeating coach watch made for the Turkish market with center seconds and calendar, circa 1796, two train gilt verge movement, balance cock pierced and engraved with scrolls, diamond endstone, pendant quarter repeating, gilt metal dust cover.
White enamel dial with Turkish numerals, the dial calibrated with date, both first and second cases engraved with a military trophy, the band pierced and engraved with scrolls spaced by patera, both hallmarked,London 1796, completed by a shagreen outer case borders decorated with rondels within a scrolling studded border, losses to shagreen, dust cover, dial and movement signed.
