A very fine rare French silver quarter repeating pocket watch with special system to open the winding shutter, circa 1735. Verge movement, pierced and engraved silver balance bridge with endstone, silver regulation disc with decorative indicator.
White fancy enamel dial with radial Roman hour numerals and Arabic outer numerals, decorative gilt hands. Outer case is silver and florally pierced. There is a slide at 1 o’clock to open the winding shutter.
