Gold open faced quarter repeater

A very fine and rare French quarter repeating verge pocket watch, circa 1735. Full plate movement, fire gilt, movement signed, chain/fusee, square movement pillars. Quarter repeating on a bell with two hammers, activated by pushing the pendant. Three-arm balance, silver pierced and engraved balance bridge and silver regulator disc with blued steel indicator.
White enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes and decorative gold hands.
20 Carat pierced and chased gold case with a stone on top of the pendant and a stone on the push button.
