A large French chromed split seconds chronograph keyless pocket watch, circa 1950. Made for the laboratory electrotechnique D.E.T.E. Breguet. A chromed, polished case with a hinged steel cuvette. White enamel dial with painted black Arabic numerals, 1/10th of a second track, inner Arabic numerals and blued steel hand, red split seconds hand. Gilt brass movement, straight-line lever escapement, fast-beating monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed, movement numbered.
