A French impressive diamond-set gold enamel pendant watch in the form of a beetle with original leather box Circa 1867. Gold enamel case, the wings engine-turned, translucent green enamelled, the head and the belly costly engraved, the eyes set with two cut rubies, inner lid with crown and presentation engraving: Agnes Clifford, punch marks for gold. Gilt heart-shaped form bridge movement, cylinder escapement, plain three-armed balance. White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer minute track and steel spade hands.
