A fine Swiss, 14K gold, hunting cased, quarter repeating, a keyless pocket watch with a chronograph, circa 1900. A solid, polished case, front cover with monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with large painted Arabic numerals, outer minute track and outermost fifth of a second chronograph division, subsidiary seconds dial. Gilt Louis XVI hands. A frosted gilt movement, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band, adjustable centrifugal governor to regulate the speed of the repeating.
