A fine Swiss, 18K gold, keyless pocket lever chronometer, circa 1900. A Louis-style, polished case, hinged gold cuvette engraved with the technical details. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and large Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XV hands. A matte gilt movement, ten jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, moustache straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, cuvette and movement signed.
