A rare and small French silver and leather pair-cased single-handed verge pocket watch, circa 1630-1670. This watch features an enamel dial with Roman radial hours and a single hand. It has two cases – an outer case covered in leather decorated with small nails and a plain silver inner case. The verge movement of the watch is signed by Paul Roumieu, a French watchmaker who passed away in 1694.
