A complicated white gold dress watch with perpetual calendar, moon phase, moon age and original box, made by Leroy & Fils in Paris, France, circa 1935.
The open faced case is crafted from 18 Carat white gold and has an engine turned, numbered base which is also engraved with, possibly, an inventory number. The nickel plated Breguet dial has Arabic numerals for the hours, three dials at three, nine and twelve o’clock for a perpetual calendar, a dial at six o’clock for moon phase and age and Art Deco hands. The movement has a precision lever escapement and the watch comes in an original box, with a white gold châtelaine.
