Deutsche Präzisions Uhrenfabrik, Glashütte GmbH
The Deutsche Präzisions-Uhrenfabrik (DPUG) in Glashütte was founded as a cooperative and existed from approximately 1918 to 1925 before being shut down due to economic difficulties. After the First World War and a general economic crisis, the DPUG was one of the smaller factories in Glashütte and its focus on the production of modern, industrially manufactured watches failed due to traditional production costs.
