A fine, heavy German graduate’s piece, made at the Deutsche Uhrmacherschule Glashütte, circa 1905/1906.
Silver polished case with engraved monogram “KE”, engraved and partly polychrome enamelled crest of the pupil’s association of the Deutschen Uhrmacherschule Glashütte, gold crown, pusher and hinge and shackle. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds and blued spade hands. Frosted, gilt and signed 3/4 plate movement with screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance, fine engraved balance and lever cock, index spring fine adjusting device, gold lever and escape wheel and chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
