An extravagant German quarter repeating coach clock with rare escapement, circa 1800.
Brass, shagreen pierced case, missing protective case. Full plate movement, repeating hours and quarters à toc, rare escapement, early version of lever movement, escape wheel with cylinders, similar to the pin wheel escapement, main plate signed, gilt balance bridge. Replaced and not fixed enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes and probably original hands.
