Silver open faced pocket watch

A large pocket watch with the original presentation box, original papers and an extract from the archives made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte near Dresden, Germany, circa 1903. The plain and numbered case of this watch is crafted from silver and has gold hinges. The stepped white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and original gold Louis XIV hands. The numbered movement has an A. Lange & Söhne precision lever escapement, a fine adjusting device, gold lever and gold escape wheel.
Case and movement have matching numbers, box, case, dial and movement are signed.
