A very rare Glashütte pocket watch with black dial, original box and extract of the archive, circa 1948.
Silver case with gold hinges; fine rare movement quality with minute wheel gold chaton, gold lever and gold escape wheel; original signed black enamel dial Arabic numerals, sunk subsidiary dial for the seconds and original steel hands. Matching numbers on case and movement. Case, movement and dial signed.

Interesting labeling of the box, inside inscribed with Lange-Uhr and outside with Glashütter-Uhren-Fabrik Union, probably a sign that in the postwar period even Lange & Söhne had partly wrong punches and wrongly printed boxes.
