Very fine pocket watch with chronometer escapement

A heavy very fine pocket chronometer with chain and fusee, made circa 1860. The numbered open face plain case of this watch was crafted from very solid silver and has gold hinges. The numbered white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and filigree gold hands. The movement has a fine chronometer escapement with chain and fusee, screwed gold chatons, a cylindrical spiral and a chronometer with a rocker.
Case and dial have matching numbers and the latter is marked Chronometre.
