A very fine and rare French, 18 Carat gold, a keyless pocket watch with chronograph and register, circa 1874. Breguet Chronograph and a movement by Louis Audemars. A polished case, the back cover engraved: Au Docteur Duchemin, Reconnaissance affectueuse, Cordoba 12 Février 1900, W. H. David. The interior with engraved dedication. Hinged gold cuvette.

White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute and seconds track concentric with fifths of a second division, Arabic five-second numerals, subsidiary seconds dial at 6, 30-minute register at 12. Gold spade hands. A frosted gilt movement, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph mechanism, and co axial button in the crown. Signed and numbered on the cuvette for Breguet, movement and case numbered by Louis Audemars. Property of a Swiss collector.
