Historically interesting Russian 14 carat rose gold and enamel hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1895. Ankerchronometer movement with very large chronometer balance and wolf’s toothing, regulating scale also Cyrillic inscribed. Engine turned case, spring lid with enameled tsar’s eagle, spring lid with Russian inscription. White enamel dial (small peripheral restorations of the seconds register) with Roman hours, Arabic minutes and rose gold hands. Probably a gift to Her Majesty the Empress Maria Feodorovna. Dome signed and numbered in Cyrillic, Pavel Buhre in the service of his Highness No. 22573.
