Harrison Mill Frodsham
Born in 1849, Harrison Mill Frodsham was the son of the renowned English watchmaker Charles Frodsham. He took control of Charles Frodsham & Co. after his father passed away in 1871, running the historic firm through the late 19th and early 20th centuries until his death in 1922.

His initials, “HMF,” frequently appear on the hallmarks of high-grade Charles Frodsham pocket watches produced during his tenure, identifying him as the casemaker and director. Like his father, he contributed to horological literature and science, publishing technical writings and maintaining the firm’s reputation for producing record-setting precision timekeepers and complex pocket chronographs.

It is signed with the founder’s name primarily due to brand preservation and corporate legacy. This practice was standard in high-end English watchmaking.
