A small rare Italian silver open faced quarter repeating coach watch with alarm, circa 1800.
Plain case with lateral sound openings, high quality Louis XV lateral hinge, pusher for repetition via pendant, chatoned ruby thumb piece and rear bell. Highly complicated firegilt signed full plate movement with quarter hour repeater, alarm, chain/fusee, conical movement pillars, 3 hammers, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance and florally engraved and pierced balance bridge. Enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes, central turnable silver alarm disc and blued Breguet hands.
