A large and heavy gold hunting cased watch with chronometer escapement, circa 1900. This plain full hunter watch was crafted from 14 carat gold, is numbered and has a white enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, outer minute divisions, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and rose gold Louis XIV hands. The movement has a very fine rocker chronometer escapement with screwed gold chatons and a fine adjustment.
