A very fine and rare Swiss large, nickel, keyless deck chronometer made for the Navy, circa 1910.
Paul Buhre, Supplier to the Imperial Court. Movement, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Guillaume balance, blued Case polished, screwed-down bezel and back with milled edges, the back inscribed S.H. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, and blued steel spade hands.
