A rare and lightweight Swiss aluminium keyless wind open faced dress watch with aluminium movement, circa 1950. Made for Canadian Aluminium Limited.
A polished and brushed case, the back with engraved dedication. Matte aluminium dial with applied polished aluminium Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions, guilloche subsidiary seconds. Brushed aluminium Breguet hands. An aluminium movement, Geneva striping decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to temperatures, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
