A fine and unusual American multi coloured gold filled full hunter cased keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1889. Retailed by F.J. Hooper, Aspin, Colorado. Full plate nickel finished lever movement, bi metallic compensation balance. Tinted enamel dial with blue Arabic hours, outer red Arabic five minute numerals and a sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Dueber Special engine turned case, the front cover with rose gold coloured applied crest and tri colour gold foliate design, bordered with a wave pattern, the back cover with rose gold coloured flying dragon surrounded by tri colour gold foliate design, border with wave pattern, coin edged band.
Dial and movement signed by retailer.
