An unusual and rare American 14 carat gold open faced keyless lever pocket watch with a two-tone enamel dial, circa 1911. Nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance. Gold cuvette. Yellow enamel dial, plain centre zone, white enamel chapter ring with Arabic hours, outer Arabic five-minute numerals, a yellow enamel border with red enamel triangles and gilt arches, sunken subsidiary seconds dial with gilt scroll motif. Engraved Keystone case, the back with an abstract floral design, a small plain medallion, the design extends into the band and bezel. Dial and movement signed by the watchmaker, case signed and numbered by the watchmaker.
