An English gold pair cased repoussé quarter repeating clock watch, circa 1730. Gilt full plate movement, pierced and engraved balance cock, diamond endstone. Champlevé dial, Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute track, beetle and poker hands. Inner case with pierced and engraved band, outer repoussé case with intricate piercing depicting Venus dancing to disarm Mars, animals within cartouches to the edge. Dial and movement signed.
