A Swiss enamel open faced keyless centre seconds pocket watch with three time zone and eight days power reserve made for the Chinese market, hallmarked London 1895. Manual winding full plate movement. Gilt engraved dial, subsidiary dials for Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai time zones, Roman and Arabic numerals, centre seconds, visible compensation balance. Silver-gilt case back depicting a blond lady’s portrait on an orange translucent enamel guilloché background, surrounded by a foliage motif. Movement’s plate signed ‘J. Ullmann & Co. Hong Kong, Shanghai & Tientsin’, maker’s mark LG.
