A fine and early Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless cylinder pocket watch, circa 1851. Gilt finished cylinder movement, plain three armed brass balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel moon style hands. Case with engraved foliage decoration and inlaid black enamel scenes depicting a lion hunt to the front and a tiger hunt to the reverse, ribbed band. Cuvette signed and numbered.
