Swiss gold quarter repeater for the Chinese market Circa 1900

A Swiss 14-carat gold hunting cased quarter repeating ladies watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1900. Jewelled nickel lever movement, repeating on steel gongs. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, subsidiary seconds and blued steel moon hands. Case with translucent blue enamel over an engine-turned ground, polychrome enamel portrait of a lady to the cover, painted landscape to the reverse, both bezels set with pearls. Dial signed, cuvette signed and numbered.
