A slim Swiss gold centre seconds open faced pocket watch with regulator type dial and thermometer, circa 1846. Highly jewelled movement, lever escapement, Moise Pouzait type independent seconds train. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary dial for minute, fan-form sector for Fahrenheit thermometer, aperture for regulator and blued steel moon hands, signed by the retailer Hunt & Roskell. 18 Carat polished case, setting device by means of the crown. Case maker’s mark EP (Elysée Piguet).
