A fine American gold cut pocket watch by Waltham, circa 1860. 19 Jewel movement, gilt ¾ plate, key wound and set, jewels in gold settings, counterpoised escapement, bimetallic balance, blued overcoiled spring, plain index regulator. White enamel dial, Roman chapters, blued hands and subsidiary seconds. 18 Carat engine turned full hunter case, with glazed front lid, signed ‘D.B. Fitts’.
