Pink gold repeating split seconds chronograph

A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat pink gold open faced minute repeating keyless pocket watch with split seconds chronograph and 30 minute register by A. Nicolet, circa 1900. The polished case with a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with black Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute and fifth of a second track, outermost red Arabic five minute/second markers, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, a 30 minute register at 12 and black steel spade hands.
Rhodium plated movement, 30 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, a calibrated and counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and an index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial and movement signed.
