A fine Swiss, 18 carat white gold open faced keyless dress watch, made by E. Gübelin in Lucerne, circa 1918. Case back engraved with the cypher J G R. Silver dial with Arabic radial numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dial at 6, and Breguet hands. Bridge movement, two hammers/two gongs, screw compensation balance, straight line equilibrated lever escapement, three adjustments. The case, dial and movement are signed.
