Very fine pocket chronometer

A very fine pocket chronometer, made by August Ericsson in St. Petersburg, Russia, circa 1890. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from silver and gold and its white enamel dial features an our track with minutes division, Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and blued steel hands. The movement is fitted with a spring detent chronometer escapement.
The dial and cuvette are signed.
