Gilt centre seconds watch for the Chinese market Circa 1860

An English gilt, enamel and pearl set open faced centre seconds watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1860. Gilt duplex movement, engraved with foliate decoration, steel balance. Gilt cuvette. White enamel dial, Roman numerals and outer minute track. Case back with translucent red enamel over an engine turned ground, centred by a polychrome enamel portrait of a lady in a green dress, both bezel and bow set with split pearls. Movement signed.
