Rare gold and enamel hunting cased lever watch

A fine, rare Scottish 18 carat gold and enamel hunting cased pocket watch with 30h power reserve indication, circa 1876. Gilt, forsted 1/2 plate movement, chatoned center wheel, blued screws, screwed compensation balance, blued balance spring, English lever escapement, chatoned diamond endstone on balance, ruby endstone on lever and escape wheel. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, auxiliary seconds at 9, sunk 30h power reserve indication at 3 and blued spade hands. The front and back lids of the case with enamelled quatrefoil design on a green ground, the front with and entwined monogram IS, the back with heraldic lion surmounting a banner inscribed Avito Viret Honore (He flourishes on the Honors of his Ancestors) which is the motto of the Stuart Clan of Bute, casemaker’s punch mark JM. Gold cuvette. Dial and movement signed.
