Impressive silver inkwell containing a watch

A silver inkwell of impressive proportions housing a goliath pocket watch in the lid, hallmarked Chester circa 1929. Plain silver bell shaped body with a weighted base, deep silver cover with a large square hinge. The watch is held in the cover by a plain bayonet fit lid. Substantial plain nickle open face watch. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman and Arabic numerals and blue steel hands.
