Pocket watch with quarter repeater
–
A very fine gold hunter cased watch with quarter hour repeater, probably made by Piguet in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1900. This numbered pocket watch crafted from 14 carat gold has three gold lids and its white enamel dial has Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The, probably, Piguet movement has a precision lever escapement, a quarter repeater and  screwed gold chatons.
