Unusual stainless steel and rubber tire pocket watch, circa 1950. Made by Marvin for Dunlop Tires. The case is surrounded by rubber resembling a tire, and a snap-on case back. Black dial with luminous Arabic and baton indexes, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Luminous steel baton hands. Rhodium-plated movement, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, shock absorber, cut bimetallic compensation balance with three adjustments, flat balance spring, index regulator.
