Gold lever hunting cased pocket watch

A fine Swiss 14 carat pink gold quarter repeating keyless pocket watch with chronograph, circa 1900. It has a gilt 21.5 ‘” ligne movement with a straight line lever escapement. White, enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, outer minutes/seconds track with Arabic five minutes/seconds numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds dial, and gilt Louis XV hands. The solid, polished pink gold case has an inscribed cuvette and a hinged case back. Dial and cuvette signed.

The case is in fair condition, showing surface wear, scuffing, and scratches throughout. There are signs of previous polishing. The hinges are visibly thin, with pitting and dents that can be seen with the naked eye. Some areas of the outer perimeter of the cuvette also show dents and pitting. The total approximate weight of the piece is 103.6 grams. The dial exhibits light surface wear and some debris. It is signed: Repetition Chronographe, and shows some fading and loss of detail. The hands display some patina. The quarter repeater is chiming in phase, and the chronograph is operational. The movement is running smoothly.
