A very fine French, 18K yellow gold minute repeating keyless dress watch, circa 1921. The back cover with engraved monogram. Matte silver dial with black dauphine numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold feuille hands. A rhodium-plated, Geneva striping decoration, 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial signed Cartier, movement and case signed European Watch & Clock Co. Inc, France.  Property of an Italian Gentleman.
