A Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced lever watch with associated watch chain, circa 1900. This watch features a mechanical movement with lever escapement, a bimetallic balance wheel, and a Breguet balance spring in blued steel. It has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours, an outer minute track marked at five minute intervals with Arabic numerals, a sunk subsidiary dial showing constant seconds, and spade shaped hands. The round case is made of 18 carat gold with a smooth reverse. Included is a matching 18 carat yellow gold chain weighing 33.5 grams, with a 14 carat ring and an uncontrolled lobster clasp.
